I enjoy people, humor, being outdoors, sports, competition, road trips, reading, writing, serving and climbing on bridges (which is profession). I am infinitely grateful to God for my life.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
I connect with God through creation (both the planet and the people); the depth and creativity of it (and us) all never ceases to amaze me. I also connect with God in the times I am alone and unplugged.
I enjoy the people, the energy, the ferocious desire to spread the gospel and our generosity. I so enjoy driving by our building at 8pm on a weeknight and seeing the parking lot filled with cars – and knowing that many of those cars do not come to our church (or any other church) on a Sunday morning (at least not yet).
I’m a married empty nester, with two children, and have been a lifelong believer. I love the outdoors, and like to spend time outside both with sports and hobbies.
Through prayer and scripture, I can hear God speak to me. I also like to connect with him in nature, as you can see the beauty of God’s hand.
Faith Community has been a loving church for us, and has felt like home since the first time we visited. I love the emphasis on biblically based teaching, and living a life of faith.
I’m married to Paul, and mom to two teen boys. I enjoy writing and speaking, shining Biblical truths on life circumstances. My hobbies include tennis, birding, and piano.
Through time in God’s word, and regular fellowship with a small group of Christian friends.
I love that the heart of this church beats for those who do not have a life-giving relationship with Jesus Christ.
Energized by engaging with people, so work as a psychologist makes sense. I feel blessed by my wife, Patti, three adult children and their mates, as well as good friends.
Ephesians 3:20 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us”. Reminds me of His love, power and desire to be working with and through us.
Not surprisingly I see and experience God most frequently through small group Bible study, prayer, and serving. In private, or with others, worship music leads me to a place where I can feel His presence.
There is so much to enjoy. Teaching and leadership that equips, encourages, and supports. Lots of opportunities to meet real needs within the church family, our neighborhood and beyond. Feeling the Holy Spirit’s presence when we worship together.

Prayer, Bible reading, daily devotions. I also connect with God by having a close relationship with a couple of ladies that I can pray with, be honest with and with whom I share my struggles.
We have been attending Faith for over 20 years and I enjoy being a part of God’s work. The staff and people are genuine, honest, and sacrificial with the focus of God’s Kingdom always before them.

When we moved to Massachusetts and found Faith Community, it was God helping us find a family in a new place and to put down roots. We have been blessed over many years by the music, teaching, people and we have been blessed to serve in many capacities over that time, too.

Gen. 1:1 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth.” There is so much wonder, beauty, intentionality, and love in God’s decision to create. All that follows flows from this.
For me, through contemplation of the wonder, the mystery, the majesty of God Almighty. I use the acronym PRAY for Praise, Return, Ask, and Yield, remembering first who he is (Praise), turning my heart back to him (Return), reviewing areas of concern (Ask), and bowing before him (Yield).
Opportunities and relationships. I have been given so many opportunities to try different things over the years, leading small groups and classes, teaching, helping with worship, leading worship, even preaching, and now helping out on the Elder Board. Combine this with the relationships with those who lead and with friends and acquaintances. These are important just for healthy living, and also provide feedback and learning. Through engaging with opportunities and relationships, we discover more of ourselves and more of God.

I tend to enjoy structured in-depth Bible study and then processing what I’m learning, especially with other women. I have recently begun to learn how to experience God in a deeper way by practicing contemplative prayer and journaling.
I enjoy the weekend worship services with great music and challenging messages. Being a part of the Thursday morning woman’s Bible studies has helped me grow in my relationship withGod and has given me the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with other women. I love being in a community with people that are serious about their faith.
