From the beginning of His ministry, Jesus spent his time on earth moving towards the cross as if it were some answer to all of His great work. Why? Because the cross was always the plan, that was how His work would be completed.
This Easter, we’ll dive deeper into what Jesus accomplished by dying on the cross – what exactly is finished? During a 3-part series over Holy Week (the week leading up to Easter), we will explore what the Bible tells us about Jesus’ final days of ministry and their impact on the world. If you’ve experienced a lack of contentment, joy, or even hope, we invite you to celebrate with us and learn why Jesus’ sacrifice is the answer you’ve been waiting for.
“Jesus said, ‘It is finished.’ With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”
– John 19:30

PALM SUNDAY
On the first Palm Sunday, Jesus was celebrated by a great crowd of people as He entered the capital city of Jerusalem. They gave Him a hero’s welcome as He entered on a donkey, laying Palm branches on the road He was traveling. The First Church saw this as a fulfillment of God’s promise to send a king who would bring peace to the world & freedom to people. Join us for Palm Sunday this year, you can find all the info to watch in-person or online below on our current events page.

VISIO DIVINA
Holy Week is our opportunity to draw near to Christ and walk with Him as He resolutely turns His face like flint (Is. 50:6-7) to embrace the Cross for us. Using a series of various sacred artwork images combined with Scripture and reflective questions, ponder Jesus’ suffering and marvel at His profound and relentless love for you. We invite you to share this experience with your family at mealtime, with your Faith group, and on your own, even daily journaling your impressions.
Beginning Palm Sunday, April 2, through Easter, April 9, look to these daily “Visio Divina” devotionals to help you fully grasp God’s immense love for you and the world. Receive the radical love of Christ and let it flow through you to give it away to others. Feel free to enjoy them through digital means or print them out to enjoy this time that way.

HOLY WEEK COMMUNION SERVICE
Jesus came to Jerusalem to participate in a meaningful Jewish Holy Day called “Passover.” This religious ceremony included a meal with His followers that memorialized God’s love & power to the Israelites (Exodus 12). In the same way, we will join churches around the world by taking communion on the Thursday before Easter Sunday.
In this special service, an artistic element will be presented alongside the message, allowing us to experience God’s love through creative expression. We hope you’ll join us in this tradition of communing together at the Hopkinton Campus.

EASTER SUNDAY
In a world that operates under the shadow of pain, Jesus offers us a new life, a life empowered by the resurrection that takes us into the light and into joy. In a great cry from the cross, He proclaimed, “It is finished!” The work was complete and He lay His head back to rest until the Father freed Him from the tomb. We invite you to celebrate this day of liberation with us, because of it, we are forever free!
There are no expectations or commitments that come with our Easter service, we only ask that you come as you are. Join us as we celebrate the most important day of the year. In-person Service information for each campus can be found below & Online Service links are directly below we’ll be going live at 9 AM & 10:30 AM.
